The DOOR page is what the name says:

It is the entrance file, in form of a visible webpage for a search engine robot, to pick up keyword related data for its index.

Every search engine has a so called "robot" that crawls the internet for new and existing webpages.
The robot finds those webpages and lists = record them to the search engine's index.
The robot also follows every single link from this DOOR pages to its destination (URL), and record those URLs' in the index as well.
The robot also "quailifies" each website for its' relevancy and "popularity", and determines a certain "rank"
within the search engine's index for each single crawled website.

So, since the robot works under certain parameters, there are webpages that are more "friendly" for
a search engine robot than others. Those special designed DOOR pages are those kind of "friendlY
webpages. They are like a " 2 pound filet steak" for an almost "hunger starving 200 pound seaman".
They feed the search engine's robot.

Robots do "love" all kinds of <tags> within the source code of a webpage.
There a various kind of tags in each webpage (Meta Tags, Alt Tags, H-Tags plus.) and each DOOR page we design,
will be "stuffed" with those kind of tags exactly in the right places.
We implement all those tags into each DOOR page to ensure that the robot will have no chance to oversee his "food".

Now, since the robot also follows each single link on this DOOR page and records them as well in the search engine's index,
the robot "knows" how many other webpages link to the particular submitted DOOR page. As more webpages
link to the DOOR page and as more links are on the DOOR pages itself to other websites, the better will be the search result "rank".
